↑ VerbВспомогательные глаголы идут перед основными глаголами ( Main verbs) в глагольных группах.1)а) Вспомогательные глаголы (Auxiliary verbs) делятся на модальные вспомогательные глаголы (Modal verbs) can, may, ought (to), must, could, might, shall, should, will, would, need, dare и первичные вспомогательные глаголы be, do, have. Первичные вспомогательные глаголы не имеют самостоятельного значения и служат для образования сложных глагольных форм.I must go now. — Теперь я должен идти. ( must употреблен как модальный вспомогательный глагол).
Are you reading? — Ты читаешь? (be употреблен как вспомогательный глагол).
